Shirley’s cottage was amazing! I was amazed at how cozy, and at home I felt. The surroundings are so calm and peaceful, not to mention beautiful. Checking in was especially easy and efficient. I highly recommend this cottage for a lovely getaway!

Shirley and Kylie were fantastic hosts! You could tell a lot of thought was put into making the cottage comfortable and cozy for our stay. The cottage was very clean and spacious enough for our group of 8 and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the dock, canoe/kayak, dinners on the deck, the outdoor firepit and the many board games provided. We felt like we were on a lake not a river, with beautiful scenery and quiet surroundings. Shirley was very responsive and everything was exactly as described but even better than expected. Highly recommend a stay here!

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shirley’s cottage! It really was a peaceful retreat and it felt like we were on a secluded island, yet we were only 30 minutes from Parry Sound to explore some great specialty shops. Dunchurch was close by for ice cream and essentials. The cottage was very clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed, except for the linens which you have to bring yourself. But pillows and extra blankets were provided. We had a fire overlooking the water, which was the perfect setting for sharing some S’mores. Shirley is a great host to deal with! Check-in and out was easy and she provided lots of information about the surrounding areas.

Shirley’s cottage was exactly what I was looking for! The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, and the cottage was very comfortable, clean and fully stocked with supplies. Drinking/cooking water was supplied for us and it was also very convenient to have the washer and dryer to use. It was great to have the canoe and kayak available to my boyfriend and I to explore the scenic Magnetawan river. When we weren’t outside swimming off the dock, we had plenty to keep us occupied with board games, puzzles, and movies. The master bedroom was huge! Shirley was very friendly and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Shirley’s cottage!
